 The Nakasendo English Conference is an annual event presented by the Nakasendo English Co-operative, a dynamic co-operative dedicated to promoting positive change in English language learning and teaching in Japan through collaboration. The first Nakasendo English Conference was held in 2008.  The purpose of this wiki is to collect ideas, queries and discussion points that we can use to develop the The Nakasendo English Conference. One of the unique things about this conference is the use of technology including wikis and google docs in the organisation and planning of the conference. Many people still don't know much about wikis,how to use them, and why they are such great tools. To learn about wikis please watch this great video, Wikis in Plain English. A wiki is the product of the combined knowledge and creativity of all the members. Each page is written and edited by members working together.
